Hepatitis A

The hepatitis A virus is acid-shell. It helps viruses engulfed with contaminated food and water, to pass a barrier sour stomach.

Mechanism of hepatitis A infection

Viral particles multiply in the cytoplasm of liver cells. After exiting the liver cells they fall into the bile ducts and excreted in the bile into the intestine.

Inflammation in the liver, leading to damage to the hepatocytes . Cells of the immune system of the human T-lymphocytes recognize virus-infected hepatocytes and attack them.

    Hepatitis B

Hepatitis B virus (HBV) belongs to the hepatovirus. Similar viruses cause hepatitis in woodchucks, gophers and Chinese ducks, which allows the use of these animals as experimental models for the development of drugs and vaccines.

Hepatitis B virus is very stable in the environment, is highly infectious. When a saved immune response had been ill with hepatitis B were formed proof lifelong immunity

Who is the most susceptible to infection of hepatitis B

Hepatitis B is found most often in adults (peak incidence in the age group 20-49 years).Reduction of morbidity in children and adolescents in developed countries was achieved through regular vaccination. In developing countries in Africa and Asia, most cases of hepatitis B infected in childhood. While the hepatitis B virus can be infected up to 10% of the total population.in these regions as a consequence of liver cancer Hepatitis B is a major cause of cancer-related deaths. Killed up to 25% of cases in childhood.you can get infection in places where gather people who inject drugs, body piercing and tattoo parlors, hairdressers (manicure, pedicure). It is sad, hepatitis B virus infection and still happening in hospitals. If we talk about the geography, the highest prevalence of hepatitis B infection in carriers and countries in Southeast Asia, the Pacific Rim, South America (Amazon), in Central and South Africa, the Near and Middle East.Among the countries close to us HBsAg carriers more (8% of the population or more) in the republics of Central Asia, the Caucasus, Moldova, according to the WHO. fewest carriers and suffering in North America, the states of Northern and Western Europe.

    Hepatitis B symptoms

Hepatitis B infection will become chronic depends upon the age at which a person has been infected. This is most likely to develop chronic infections hepatitis B infected infants. Chronic infection occurs in approximately 90% of infants infected during the first year of life, and 30% - 50% of children infected between the ages of one and four years. About 25% of adults who become chronically infected during childhood die from liver cancer or cirrhosis associated with hepatitis B.
For chronic hepatitis B is characterized by enlargement of the liver, pain or a feeling of heaviness in the right upper quadrant.

    Hepatitis B treatment

Patients with acute hepatitis B in most cases recover on their own.In chronic hepatitis B antiviral therapy can significantly reduce the activity of viral replication, restores liver, reduces the risk of formation of cirrhosis. However, to achieve a complete cure (cleansing the body of the virus) in chronic hepatitis B with the help of modern techniques can be no more than 10-15% cases. The doctor's task - to do everything possible so that the patient was among them.Acute hepatitis B is assigned only supports detoxification and therapy aimed at the elimination of toxins and restore the liver tissue. Antiviral treatment is not carried out.

    Hepatitis B in children

Postnatal infection of the child occurs during breastfeeding or baby care: the violation of the integrity of the skin and mucous membranes of the child, close contact with infected mother viral shedding the blood of cracked nipples. At older ages, children with hepatitis B infection can occur when using shared towels, sponges, toothbrushes and other hygiene items, as well as sexually (adolescents). Not exclude the possibility of infection in children with hepatitis B during blood transfusion, invasive diagnostic and treatment procedures. Risk of hepatitis B increased in children undergoing kidney dialysis. High likelihood of infection among adolescent addicts that share needles and syringes.Immaturity of the immune system in children causes the rapid spread of hepatitis B virus through body fluids and parenchymal liver. Typically, an acute form of hepatitis B in children occurs quickly and ends with the elaboration recovery resistant lifelong immunity to the virus. When latent, asymptomatic hepatitis B in children in adulthood may be inadvertently revealed Scarring of the liver tissue. Children with chronic hepatitis B virus carriers are lifelong.

    Hepatitis B prevention

Vaccination against hepatitis B immunization schedule introduced in children (infants) in most countries. It can be done right in the maternity ward.

According to the Russian Ministry of Health regulations,

newborns receive the first vaccination within the first 12 hours of life
second vaccination is performed at the age of one month
third vaccination operate at six months
Special scheme provided for children from having HBsAg hepatitis B or ill mothers.

Not previously vaccinated children are vaccinated at age 13.
But it is also important to vaccinate adult patients infected with other hepatotropic viruses (eg, HCV), family members of patients with chronic hepatitis B, health care workers and medical students, all working with blood and producing their patients on hemodialysis (apparatus "artificial kidney "), people who use drugs and representatives of other groups at risk.

    Hepatitis C

How common is hepatitis C infection ?

The prevalence of hepatitis C in the developed countries reaches 2%. The number of people infected with hepatitis C virus in Russia could reach 5 million worldwide - 500 million Official registration and accounting of sick and infected with hepatitis C started much later than in other viral hepatitis. Previous infection called viral hepatitis "neither A nor B"

Every year, the incidence of hepatitis C in different countries is growing. It is believed that this increase is associated with an increase in drug abuse: 38-40% of young people who get hepatitis C infected through intravenous drug use.
Chronic hepatitis C is the leader among the reasons for requiring a liver transplant.

    Mechanism of hepatitis C infection

To hepatitis C virus infection was carried out, it is necessary that the material containing the virus (the blood of an infected person) got into the bloodstream of another person. Viruses entered the bloodstream to the liver where penetrate the cells of the liver and begin to multiply there. Liver cell damage can occur due to the activity of viruses themselves, and in the immunological reaction - the body response, sending the immune cells to kill cells infected liver cells containing foreign genetic material.

    Hepatitis C symptoms

In general, hepatitis C - is an asymptomatic disease, is diagnosed more often by accident when people are surveyed about other diseases. Therefore, early diagnosis is important analyzes.

Often other marked fatigue, weakness, fatigue. But these symptoms are non-specific (one of their presence can not talk about hepatitis C).
cirrhotic liver may appear jaundice, increases in volume abdomen (ascites), spider veins appear, growing weakness.

    Hepatitis C diagnosis

Antibody (anti-HCV) found in 70% of cases when the first symptoms of the disease, and in 90% of cases - within three months. But the fact that the symptoms often can not be.

HCV RNA in the blood (more detailed analysis of the PCR method) is detected within 1-2 weeks after infection.

    Hepatitis C treatment

The mainstay of treatment for hepatitis C - combined antiviral therapy. International research and clinical practice have shown that currently the most proven itself a combination of two drugs - interferon-alpha and ribavirin. Individually they are less effective.
However, in special cases (eg, contraindications to one of the drugs) can be assigned to one drug monotherapy.
Doses and duration of treatment are selected by the doctor individually, taking into account many factors.

    Hepatitis C prophylaxis

Passive or active immunization against HCV infection has not yet been developed. Immunization of chimpanzees using glycoprotein E1 and E2 results in some animals with experimental HCV infection to the development of specific immunity. However, considerable variability of the HCV genome and the existence of many genotypes represent a significant obstacle to the creation of a protective vaccine.

What should I do to prevent infection with hepatitis C virus?

    • Never use injection drugs. If you can not abandon them in and out of addiction, never with anyone not sharing needles, syringes, solutions and any similar devices, and do not use other people's
    • If you are using injecting drugs, you should be vaccinated against hepatitis A and B. This will keep your liver at risk of co-infection

    • Think twice before you go and get a tattoo or piercing, and see - where and to whom you go. Master should wash hands and work in disposable gloves. You can infect a needle that contains infected blood. learn more about that : http://treatment-institute.blogspot.com/2014/09/hepatitis-c-prevention-protection.html

      Hepatitis C treatment contraindication

    • People who were transplanted kidney, heart, lung
    • Patients in whom administration of interferon exacerbates the autoimmune process in the liver or other organs
    • Patients with untreated hyperthyroidism (thyroid disease)
    • Pregnant women
    • Children under 3 years
    • People with individual intolerance of any drug for the treatment of hepatitis C

  3. I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
